It was amazing to watch their craftsmanship. We had total siding and front door replacement. JMR and company were:... quiet, professional, calm, proficient, clean, organized and prompt. We never witnessed shortcuts or waste of product. They never complained about others' shoddy work. They just figured out how to make it right. We were tired just watching them work. Very reassuring to have the owner/operator actually doing the work on site each day- a must for us. Stop looking for a contractor just hire them. It will be $$ well spent. Thank you very much.Hint: Nail down the contract several months prior with color, style, and work start date. We visited his work at several other houses nearby both large and small jobs and were impressed.read more

Jean Mark and Claude are amazingly hard workers. They quickly assessed the work that needed to be done and knew exactly... what materials they would need. This job included installing a window, siding and reroofing. The work was done perfectly in the time frame they specified at a perfectly fair price. I highly recommend this business.read more

Did a great job on installing siding on our house. Had some communication trouble before signing the contract but once... a time was set for the project, everything went beautifully. They finished the job early, cleaned up nicely and were very friendly. Very highly recommend Jean-Marc!read more

JMR was one of several companies we contacted to side our house.We've had several major projects over the years at... other homes, including new construction, and know what qualities are important to us. Jean of JMR has them all.No hard sell, just good advice from the start, along with competitive rates, and most important, quality workmanship. In addition to the siding, we had several doors and a window replaced. Some of these were complicated by hidden rot, which we expected. They thoroughly explained issues as they emerged, and our options. Everything was repaired and installed with great attention to detail, no shortcuts. They were punctual, professional, friendly and extremely productive when on the clock. Our home is 30 years old, with original windows and siding. It was time to replace the windows, and as the siding... needed work, we decided to go ahead had have the siding replaced as well. JMR was one of three companies that came in to give us an estimate, and for the work we needed to do, came in at a very competitive rate. What truly set them apart was the willingness to install new construction windows and do the inside trim work around the windows.We hoped to have the work completed before the weather got cold and the snows came. Jean-Marc assured us that he would be able to complete it before Thanksgiving, subject of course to the weather. Although the work started a week later than anticipated, the weather held and the work was completed on schedule.As with any job of this magnitude, there were issues hidden underneath the existing siding and in the existing window openings. They addressed those issues quickly and efficiently. He was also more than happy to make suggestions based on things he found (or didn't find) during the course of the work done on the house. As a result of this, we discovered that a bathroom exhaust vent had become disconnected from the roof vent, allowing warm, moist air to collect in the attic, which we then able to fix right away.Based on our experience, we would not hesitate to recommend JMR to anyone who is in need of siding or windows. I've attached before and after pictures of the house. The difference between the two is stunning.read more
